ROYALTY FREE
(or RF) in stock photography usually means a license form which only requires a one time fee and then allows for several uses. This is convenient i.e. for designers who can not always be sure about the final product at the beginning of the project, and serves especially well for generic purposes like backgrounds, textures and design elements. Not all ROYALTY FREE IMAGE LIBRARIES grant the same rights under a royalty-free license, esp. when it comes to print and high traffic website use. Often certain restrictions apply, which is commonly true for cheap stock photo offers.
